Hello friends,

Just wanted to give you an update on Little Isaac. We had our 10 day checkup today and it went very well. Isaac has grown an inch in length and has put on almost 1lb. Our midwife, Christine, said that they like to see babies back at their birth weight after 2 weeks. She was thrilled to see him weigh in at 8lb 10oz. Thank you all again for everything you have done for us and Little Isaac, we truly appreciate everything! Keep checking back as we will continually update the blog.

Baby Isaac Kristian Shammel was born on Monday August 13th at 2:43 Am at the Beautiful Bellingham Birth Center under the care of Christine Gibbs and Catriona Munro of Gentle Hands Midwifery. He weighed in at 7lbs 12.5oz and measured 20 inches long. Baby Isaac, Mom and Dad are well and healthy. We had a wonderful birthing experience with a top-notch team. Thank you all for your support, we couldn't have done it without you!
