Cloud Mountain Farm Annual Apple Festival!!

Every October, Cloud Mtn Farm has an annual Apple Festival. This year, we went with Stella and her mom and dad to check it out. We got to sample all sorts of grapes, berries, apples and pears. It was fabulous! Also, the local ice creamery was there, and they had ice cream made with the fresh ingredients from the farm. Mmm, nothing like ice cream outside in October. Cold, but so worth it. They also had a pumpkin patch and a huge nursery with so many gorgeous varieties of plants and shrubs. This will definitely be a family tradition each year.

Isaac, come on, follow me!!

I think I can lift this pumpkin here.

Look, I'm not really into kissing yet.

Okay, okay, just do it quickly.

Summer Boating!!!

Below are pics of two seperate boating trips we took over the summer. Enjoy!

Celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary!!

We brought Isaac to Sucia Island for our wedding anniversary in early September. The weather was fantastic. A bit brisk, but sunny and beautiful. Isaac enjoyed putting rocks in and out of the bucket ("sorting", we call it), eating driftwood chips, and throwing rocks in the water. Even though we stayed 3 nights, we hated to leave! We're looking forward to the warm summer weather of 2009 =).

So, what's on the agenda for today?

What a cool place this is!

You're blocking my view, Mom!

Loungin' in the sun - aaaaaahh

This is the most handsome man I have ever seen. =)

Can you believe this sunset? The picture just doesn't do this any justice. It was a surreal evening to say the least.

The ride home

I don't look tired here, do I?

Tuckered out!!

Isaac's 1st Boating Trip!

We decided to take him to our all-time favorite, Fox Cove at Sucia Island. It is the second closest San Juan Island to the Canadian border and is about 18 miles away from Bellingham. It takes us approximately 3 hours to get there, and we never know exactly how the ride will be until we get out there. I was a nervous wreck up until we actually got on the water and then slowly realized that we have always been fine, and Isaac would be fine, too. He ended up having a complete blast, and we were all sad to come home.

This picture is framed next to my bed. I love it!! What a little honey!

It was a "killer" trip- ha!

I know, lame title. But so cool to see the killer whales along the way. It was the first time we've spotted them out there!
